How to use this
Staggered (offset) planting packs roughly 15% more plants into the same area by using the triangular gaps that a grid wastes. It’s the standard for intensive bio-intensive beds.
A 20% seed-order buffer covers germination loss, culled seedlings, and crop-failure re-sows. Save a few extra for succession plantings.

plants = area ÷ area_per_plant × (1 + staggered bonus)
