How to use this
US recipes use Fahrenheit, most of the world uses Celsius, and UK recipes often use Gas Marks — a stepped dial, not a linear scale. The nearest Gas Mark is close enough for ovens, which rarely hold their set temperature within 15°F anyway.
An oven thermometer beats the dial every time. Check calibration once a year.
Formula
°F → °C: (°F − 32) × 5/9
°C → °F: °C × 9/5 + 32
