How to use this
Fridge method: slowest but safest. Keep in original wrapper on a tray. Thawed turkey lasts 1-2 extra days in the fridge before it must be cooked.
Cold water method: submerge in a sealed bag in cold tap water. Change the water every 30 minutes to keep it below 40°F. Cook immediately — do not refreeze.
Never thaw at room temperature. USDA: bacteria multiply above 40°F within 2 hours.
